True Story: A three year-old boy was recently potty trained but was still having trouble during the night. When his father walked in one morning and found his son had wet the bed, the boy was quick to point out, “I didn’t wet the bed, Mommy just left my underwear in the washing machine too long.”
The next morning, upon finding him once again wet in his pajamas, the three year-old replied, “I not pee pee! I was hot and felt like lying in some water.”
And the most touching fib of all, on the third morning when his mother found him wet in his bed he looked up with his big brown eyes and sorrowfully said, “I had a bad dream and cried and cried and all the tears rolled into my underpants.”
